According to statistics from the China association of automobile manufacturers, in June 2016, the total number of motorcycle production and sales in the whole industry was 1.3993 million and 1.3719 million, compare last month both down 1.75%，compare last year same time down 15.81 and 18.56%, the two-wheel motorcycle production and sales of 1.2222 million vehicles and 1.1970 million vehicles, up 0.63% and 0.96% from the previous year, down 17.19% and 19.9% year-on-year.The tricycle of motorcycles produced 177.1 thousand vehicles and 174.9 thousand vehicles, down 15.52% and 17% from the previous month, down 4.93% and 7.99% from the same period last year.

In the first half of the year, the industry-wide cumulative production and sales totaled 8.1638 million and 8.1577 million units, down 14.44% and 15.01% from the same period last year, a decline of 0.43% and 1.48% in the first quarter, up 6.42% and 7.13% from the same period last year.Among them, the two-wheel motorcycle production and sales reached 7.1571 million and 7.1564 million, down 15.21% and 15.84% year on year.The production and sales of tricycles were 1.0067 million and 1.0013 million units, down 8.59% and 8.53% year on year.In the first half of the year, the industry-wide motorcycle sales rate was 99.92%, down 0.67%age points from a year earlier.

In terms of market segmentation, the performance of the three varieties of two-wheelers were different in June.Compared with last month, the production and marketing of wave motor increased rapidly, with the CG motorcycle decline slowly , the scooters output get down but sales increased a little, .Compared with the same period a year ago, the production and sales of the three varieties of models declined to a different degree, CG motorcycle decline obvious .                      From January to June, the CG motorcycle  production and sales were 4.1785 million and 5.0547 million, down 17.4% and 17.48% year on year.

Wave motor decline was the most obvious in the first five months, compare last years same time decline still the biggest, product 1.357 million units and sales 1.378 million units, down 22.38% and 23.13% year on year.

The number of production and sales of scooters was 162.16 million and 160.74 million, down 0.72% and 2.93% year-on-year.

From January to June, the proportion of the total sales volume of the 2 wheel vehicles,CG motorcycle、wave motorcycle、scooter was 59.44%, 21.08% and 19.47% respectively,

This year, China's motorcycle exports have fallen sharply, and in January and June, China's motorcycle exports totaled 3.4222 million, down 13.3% year on year.This caused a great influence to the motorcycle industry in our country, our country motorcycle one-third or more of the production of export overseas, the domestic market downturn, the overseas market is especially important for the motorcycle industry in our country.There are many reasons for the decline in the export of motorcycle industry in China.The main reason is that due to the more than 90% of the country's motorcycle exports to Asia and Africa,but those country economic difficult to recovery in the recent year, affecting the export of motorcycles.On the other hand, due to the serious homogeneity of China's export motorcycle, international competitiveness has been falling.From the data, in June, China exported 0.5645 million vehicles.Export volume ranks in the top five series of varieties are: 125cc series (110 ml ~125 ml) , 150cc series (125 ml ~150 ml) , 110cc series (100 ml~ 110 ml), 250cc series (150 ml ~ 250 ml) and 50cc series (50 ml) and export respectively 208400, 139800, 98200, 36900 and 31500.Compared with may, the volume of exports of 150cc and 110cc series has increased rapidly, with the 125cc series growth slightly lower, while the other varieties have declined, and the decline of the 250cc series is more obvious.In June, the above five varieties exported 51.48 million units, accounting for 91.20% of the total number of motorcycle exports

In June, the total exports of motorcycle production enterprises totaled us $367 million, down 0.68%  from the previous month, and down 21.97% year-on-year.Among them, 564.5 thousand CKD motorcycle vehicles were exported, up 2.67% from the previous month, down 20%compare last year same time..Exports totaled $308 million, up 1.77% from the previous year, down 22.79% from a year earlier.

From January to may, the operating income of 92 enterprises, according to the China automobile industry association, business account was 43.718 billion yuan, down 10.09% year on year.The operating cost was 37.866 billion yuan, down 10.88% year on year.Sales expenses were 1.389 billion yuan, down 7.67% year on year.The management cost was 2.658 million yuan, down 0.95% from the previous year.Financial expenses were 428 million yuan, down 1.84% year on year.Investment income was 193 million yuan, down 64.34% year on year.Profits totaled 144 million yuan, down 23.14% year on year.
